This restaurant in London´s Soho area offers a delicious dish from Korea, Bibimbap, which is served with rice in a hot stone bowl, along with various vegetables and a Korean hot chilli paste called gochujang*. After waiting a 10 minute queue (short time for a Friday night in London) we could have a place and glance at the menu.
From the menu was pretty clear that the main dish here is the Bibimbap that you can choose in different versions; from the traditional “Dol sot” (with bean sprouts, spinach, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms and fired egg) to other varieties with chicken teriyaky, beef strips or mixed seafood. Besides, there other options available apart from bibimbap like noodles, traditional soup (Kimchi soup) and side dishes (chilli squid, Korean fried chicken, seafood pancake…).
Our election was the Bibimbap Beef bool-go-gi, the chicken teriyaki bibimbap and chilli squid as a side. Try to put just a bit of the spicy sauce (if you like spicy be generous) on the hot bowl and you will enjoy this food. I can say that it has become one of my favourites rice dishes; the chilli squid also was nice and not too spicy. We can say that if you like the asian food, this resturant is a must. You cannot miss the opportunity to eat and enjoy this Korean food.
Please note that there is also another Bibimbap restaurant near to the Goodge Street tube station.
